Download the Flash Player 9 package (74 MB).
It contains all versions of Flash 9, to include a .DMG for 9.0.47
9.0.47 is the latest version without problems.

New in palabea:
We have launched an entirely new section in palabea called ‘Offline Language Exchange’. This, we hope, will complement the online language learning by promoting a more intimate, offline, learning experience. Using the Offline Language Exchange, you can make and meet friends, share with them your stories and experiences, interests and goals, while you share new languages.
If you are interested in sharing your experiences using the Offline Language Exchange, please let us know. We’d be very interested in publishing your stories.
We’d also like to welcome all the new language schools that have joined palabea. If you are an accredited language school and would like to join our platform, please write to us – we’d be happy to welcome you too!

Last Friday was Sebastian’s birthday. We celebrated in the office by enjoying delicious torte with a glass of champagne. Happy birthday Sebastian – we wish you a great and prosperous year to come!

Gracias a todos por vuestras sugerencias. Estamos trabajando en incluir algunas de las nuevas funciones que nos pedís. Esto lleva su tiempo, pero estamos en ello. ; ).
Novedades de la semana
Intercambio en la ciudad: A partir de ahora podréis buscar intercambios en vuestra ciudad. Esperamos que hagáis muchos amigos, y que compratáis gustos mientras practicáis los conocimientos en otra lengua. Y si nos queréis contar vuestras experiencias, escribirnos y publicaremos vuestras historias.
Nuevas escuelas acreditadas han entrado a formar parte de palabea esta semana. Bienvenidas!!

El viernes celebramos el cumpleaños de Sebastian. Comimos tarta y bebimos algo de champán, lo que dificultó el trabajo por la tarde…. pero una pausa de vez en cuando viene bien. ; )

1). Virtual Classrooms: to ensure the best use in the virtual classroom we recommend that the number of people in the classrooms should not exceed 10. This will enable you to better organize the lessons by managing the uploaded documents and other multimedia files.
Also, to make it easier for the other users, if you are an administrator who has a virtual classroom but who is not using their classroom, please let us know if you are no longer hosting the classroom and we can delete it for you. This will enable other users to find and enjoy active classes.
Feedback for inviting friends: please note that we are creating a new application that will make it easy and quick to invite your friends.
Also, we are increasing our linguistic scope to include new languages: Gaelic, Scotts, Samoan, Cantonese, and Tamashek. We are very excited about this development so please let us know if you have more suggestions about other languages we should include.

Communication Tool: We have improved the Communication Tool so please take a look at it and let us know what you think.
Virtual Classrooms: We are always working to develop the virtual classrooms for your improved usage.

The spring has come!! Clemens has brought more colour to the palabea office by creating a beautiful floral arrangement. Thank you for the flowers, Clemens.

Los feedbacks de la semana:
1- Respecto a las clases virtuales: Para que una clase viertual funcione bien no ha de ser excesivamente grande. Es igual que en la vida real. Una clase de 1000 personas no funciona igual que una con 10 miembros. Ya que en clases pequeñas es más fácil de organizaros tanto con los horarios como con los materiales.
También me gustaría pedir a los administradores de las clases, si tenéin alguna clase que no utilizáis por favor decírnoslo para poder borrarlas. Y así dejar sólo visibles aquellas que realmente son activas.
Con respecto al feedback para invitar a amigos: Dentro de poco ya seréis capaces de invitar a vuestros amigos a palabea de forma sencilla y rápida.
En cuanto a las lenguas que vamos a añadir: Gaelic, Scots, Samoan, Cantonés y Tamashek..
Si tenéis sugerencias o deseáis que incluyamos más lenguas sólo tenéis que decírnoslo.

Herramienta de comunicación(lingofón): Echarle un vistazo! Hemos mejorado su utilidad.
Clases Virtuales. Estamos trabajando continuamente en las clases virtuales. Lo que vendrá muy pronto es el Chatroom para las clases.

Ha llegado la primavera! Clemens nos ha traído unos bonitas flores.
